This is a brand new (unused) piece of antique "Leavers" lace. This lace has been kept in ideal conditions since the mid 1960's.As you can see it is 6 inches wide, with a floral motif in the design, with a beautiful wide scallope on one side, and a straight sewing edge on the other side. This lace was "hand scalloped" because of its very delicate nature, hence leaving the wiskers on the lace.The color is an unusual teal blue color and is very beautiful. The whole piece is 6 yds in length and you are buying the entire piece i.e the whole 6 yds.
( This is one of those amazing laces that you need to see and feel to believe how incredibly beautiful, it is).
