The 6' Stitch & Glue Kayak kit is almost big enough to paddle! Well, not quite but it is a very large kayak model equal to the real thing in detail. A real stitch and glue kit that produces a real kayak the same way as if you bought a full size kit. The 2.5mm Mahogany plywood panels stitch together using a fine copper wire, which is easily cut with scissors. A hybrid decking consists of wide pine strips and Red Cedar for the decking. A two piece coaming, thin plywood hatches that can optionally be made to open. Life like webbing, foam seats and knee pads, copper wire for the stitching, decals and more. Easy to build with elaborate results. Basic hand tools all that's needed. A scale model of the popular Chesapeake plywood kits
