La Fleur Yoga’s 4-week prenatal yoga series is an opportunity to connect with yourself, your baby, and other women, to develop mind-body awareness and to learn how yoga can become a tool for coping with pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. La Fleur Yoga’s 4-week prenatal yoga series is an opportunity to connect with yourself, your baby, and other women, to develop mind-body awareness and to learn how yoga can become a tool for coping with pregnancy, labour, birth and beyond. DETAILS: Each 60 minute class will focus on breath awareness, mindful movements and poses that are safe, strength building, and bring awareness to your core and pelvic floor.  Each class ends with a 5-10 minute meditation.  Each week of classes has a specific area of focus, that builds from the week previous.   Week 1 - Yoga and Breathing/Core Basics Week 2 - Yoga and Body Movements for Labour Week 3 - Yoga and Body Movements for Birthing Week 4 - Yoga and Planning for Postpartum Yoga is for everyone and every body.  No prior yoga experience is necessary.  Modifications are provided as needed for all trimesters.  Studio blocks are available.   SESSION SCHEDULE: 4 week series, All Monday class, 6-7pm 1. I’m the owner and creator of La Fleur Yoga!La Fleur Yoga was created out of a desire to bring women and mothers together to buildcommunity and connection during one of our most intimate and transformative phasesof life. Depicted intentionally after the Fleur de Lys, the flower represents the womenwe were before becoming mothers, and the women we will be forever forwards, notforgetting who we once were, but loving and learning who we will become.Birth changes us, and motherhood changed me. What started as a yearning to ‘returnto myself’ through a yoga teacher training in 2020, quickly blossomed into a desire tofocus in prenatal and postpartum class guiding with further training in 2021. As a Momto now 3, I had experienced the power of how yoga can become part of the pregnancyand birthing process, and I felt compelled to share forwards.You’ll find my style of teaching is soft, gentle and alignment-based. My education inanatomy and biomechanics leads me to ensure students move safely and with bodyawareness. I am a registered prenatal yoga teacher, as well as a 200 hour registeredyoga teacher. My hope is that by joining me for class, I can guide you along your ownunique journey towards labour, birth and beyond. Meet your Instructor:

Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m the owner and creator of La Fleur Yoga!
La Fleur Yoga was created out of a desire to bring women and mothers together to build
community and connection during one of our most intimate and transformative phases
of life. Depicted intentionally after the Fleur de Lys, the flower represents the women
we were before becoming mothers, and the women we will be forever forwards, not
forgetting who we once were, but loving and learning who we will become.
Birth changes us, and motherhood changed me. What started as a yearning to ‘return
