Whenever my little guy goes down for a nap I now try to dedicate 10-15 mins to recovery if I can, it doesn’t happen every time but my body does feel better when I do. The first week was all about rest and bonding with baby for me. We went on some family walks and spent a lot of time together while my husband was off of work. Week 2 I started feeling more energized and able to fit in some more recovery. I focused mainly on gentle mobility and breathing exercises. I underestimated how hard it would be to activate the muscles I wanted and just breathe deeply again post C-section. So I have been practicing 360 breathing in various positions to activate my deep core and reconnect with my pelvic floor muscles. It’s not perfect, it’s a work in progress but it gets better every day! Follow along for more of my postpartum recovery journey! 🤗 #csection #csectionrecovery #2weekspostpartum #postpartumfitness #360breathing”. Cool Kids (our sped up version) - Echosmith.
